6 Warning Signs that Tell You Some Changes Need to be Made.

This is just a short little note to let you know that my PC is taking a break.  This is not my choice.  This morning when I turned it on instead of saying, “Good morning Debbie” it said, “Do you really have to do this Debbie”.

Guess it is my fault, I have been over working it and me not being the most technical person in the world it needs a lot of spring cleaning.

I started to realize that I was running into some problems when:

I had to wait 15 minutes for it to load a new page.   I can be very patient, but this is really getting cared away.

When I hit the back button and it went forward.   That reminds me of when I tell my hubby that I need something done and he tells me he forgot something at the store and leaves.

I was getting ERROR messages all the time.   This is like telling your spouse how you felt about something and he tells you that you don’t know what you are talking about.  You shouldn’t feel that way.

When I would make a comment on another blog and it would eat my comment and I had to start all over again and hope for the best.  This tells me that I am not being listened too.

When I lost my tool bar on internet explorer and could not get it back.  That is like someone stealing your GBS when on vacation in a city you have never been before.

The real kicker is that it is now telling me when my day is over.  Yes, would you believe that?  Between 4:00 and 5:00 P.M, Whatever I try to do it just tells me to TRY AGAIN.  This reminds me of a relationship you can be in and they make you feel like you can never do anything right.

The moral of the story is:

Computers can be like relationship when you see all those RED FLAGS you know that some changes need to be made.

If you have read this post that does mean that the good old computer is cooperating and letting me make this post. I shall return next week,

Debbie

p.s. When you sign up for the FREE MENTORING, I will get to you as soon as I get my computer back.  So don’t worry I have not forgotten about you.  And I will acknowledge all comment when I am up and running again.

Loved the playful nature of this post, Debbie. And yet it still teaches and reminds us. Nicely done!

Good luck with the computer. I recently had router problems I didn’t know how to fix myself.

  5. Ha ha. I love this Debbie. I could have written the EXACT experience of my many computer challenges. I recently switched to a Mac because it were supposed to solve all my problems… but the Law of Attraction is always in action … Somehow I manage to make a mess with my Mac too! 🙂

      Hi rob,

As you can see I am up and running again. However still some ironing out to do. How is your Mac doing?

My computer guy saved my files in mircosoft office 2010. OOPS! My PC only is on mircosoft office 2007. Can’t open the files.
On the bright side I am learning more about PC every day. Think I’ll stick to the PC rather than Mac, I’d have to go back to school for sure or at least take some new computer classes,

Thank you for dropping by it is always nice to see that smiling face,
      Debbie

  6. Good luck Debbie,

Hope you can get back to us soon.

  7. Hi Debbie,

Sorry to hear about your computer problems and good to see you back online.

This was a very clever post and I thought you compared the issues you had with your computer to relationships brilliantly.

On the point about comments, something has been up recently with WordPress hosted blogs, and I was loosing entire, long comments. I’ve resorted to writing comments in Word and then pasting them into comment boxes!
